Financial Coverage

  • Full Tuition Fee: For the Master by Research or Ph.D. study, the scholarship pays for all of the tuition.
  • Research Support Allowance: Extra money is given to help with research activities, like paying for materials, tools, and other costs connected to research.
  • Stipend: A nice stipend of $46,428 a year (pro rata for full-time study), which includes an extra $15,000 from RMIT on top of the normal RTP rate. The payment helps pay for living costs.

  • have registered for a full-time PhD program at RMIT and are an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia. You can also be an international candidate starting an RMIT PhD program on January 1, 2025.

  • You have already started your PhD study at RMIT. You already have a research doctorate or a similar research qualification.
