MS/PhD Scholarships (Research Path – Work Commitment)

After graduating, students in this category are required to work for Khalifa University or another recognized organization. Scholarship levels consist of:

  • Tier I includes free tuition, a monthly stipend of AED 20,000, an extra AED 20,000 allowance (pending approval), textbooks, conference funding, health insurance, visa application fees, and airfare for overseas students.
  • Tier II: Complete tuition waiver, AED 20,000 monthly stipend, extra AED 10,000 allowance (pending approval), conference financing, textbooks, health insurance, overseas student visa application fees, and airfare.
  • Tier III: International students are eligible for a 75% tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend of AED 20,000, textbooks, conference financing, medical insurance, visa application fees, and airfare.
  • Tier IV: International students are eligible for free university housing, textbooks, medical insurance, airfare, and a 50% tuition fee waiver.

 PhD Scholarships (Study Path – No Work Commitment)

  • Tier I: Complete tuition reimbursement, a monthly allowance of AED 4,000, free housing, textbooks, conference support, health insurance, visa expenses, and airfare for overseas students.
  • Tier II: International students receive a 75% tuition remission, a monthly stipend of AED 2,000, free housing, textbooks, conference financing, health insurance, visa expenses, and airfare.
  • Tier III: 50% tuition waiver, free housing, medical insurance, textbooks, international student visas, and airfare.
  • Tier IV: International students receive a 25% tuition waiver, free housing, textbooks, health insurance, and airfare.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
  • English Proficiency: Minimum scores required:
    • IELTS: 6.5
    • TOEFL iBT: 91
    • EmSAT English: 1550
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Two referee recommendations
    • Statement of purpose (500-1,000 words)
    • Admission interview

Doctorate Degree Applicants:

  • Academic Qualification:
    • MSc holders: Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.25 out of 4.0.

  • Standardized Test: GRE quantitative score of 150.
