About the Position:
As a Pet Groomer, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets in a busy, friendly environment. You’ll be part of a team that values professionalism, customer care, and animal welfare. This full-time, permanent position offers flexible shifts (weekdays and weekends) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pet Grooming: Bathing, clipping, and styling fur for various breeds of dogs and cats. Ensuring pets are comfortable during grooming sessions.
- Ear and Nail Care: Cleaning pet ears and trimming nails to ensure health and well-being.
- Sanitation: Keeping grooming stations, cages, pens, aquariums, and all pet-related areas sanitized and safe.
- Customer Care: Providing excellent customer service, ensuring clients are satisfied with the grooming experience.
- Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of each pet’s grooming history and any special care notes.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in pet grooming or a related field (e.g., animal care or veterinary assistance). Certifications in pet grooming are a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work well in both team settings and independently.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of personal cleanliness.
- Ability to lift pets and grooming equipment up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Education: A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required to ensure clear communication with clients and team members.
