Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- Must be a citizen of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan.
Educational Background:
- For Integrated Doctoral or Master’s Program: Must have finished or be on track to finish 16 years of schooling outside of Japan by the day before they start school.
- For PhD Program: For the PhD program, you must have earned or be on track to earn a degree from a university or college outside of Japan that is equal to a Master’s degree or a professional Master’s degree by the day before you start the program.
Academic Performance:
- Students should have a minimum GPA of 2.3 on a 3.0 scale.
Age:
- Must be at least 22 years old by the day before the admission date.
Language Requirement:
- There is no need to know Japanese to get into the school; all lectures and seminars are held in English. If students want to better fit in with daily life in Japan, they can choose to take regular Japanese language classes.
