Read the following information carefully before applying:
- Students in Graduation Level OR Master Level Programs are the only ones who can use the Online Web Application System.
- PhD and MPhil students also can’t get the Diya Scholarship. However, students who go straight to MPhil after graduation can. A Ph.D. after an MA, MSc, or MS is not acceptable. Students in the School level and the Intermediate level will not be able to apply through this web-based method.
- Students in the School or Intermediate level who are talented and deserve to be there will apply through their schools or institutes. At the moment, Diya Pakistan only gives grants to government schools. The Institute will call our office to talk about the steps in more detail.
- Diya Scholarship is not open to students who already get more than Rs. 25000 a year in scholarships from other groups.
- At every level, students must have gotten at least 60%.
- Students who are applying for the scholarship for the first time need to fill out the online application and upload scans of the papers listed below.
- The review of your application with scans could take 30 to 45 days. You can check on the progress of your application every week on the website.
- Your application’s status will be shown on the web as Clarify, Incomplete, Complete, Not Accepted, or Approved.
- In 10 to 30 days after acceptance, the check will be sent to your institute. Once it has been checked, it will either be given to you OR your fee will be lowered by the Institute. You can cash the check at any Meezan Bank Branch by giving the bank your original NIC card and a copy of it.
- The scholarship is given every year, from July 1st to June 30th. If the study goes on, the student can apply to renew next year.
- If a student’s case was “Not Accepted” before or if they gave fake, changed, or copied and pasted documents or information, they can NEVER APPLY again. If you are having trouble sending in any required documents, please tell me what is going on.
